Materials we engrave

Powder-coated stainless

Tumblers, bottles, and mugs. The laser burns through the coating to bright steel, so the mark is part of the cup — it will not peel or fade in the dishwasher.

Leather & faux leather

Patches for hats and bags, keychains, luggage tags, and journal covers. Engraving darkens the hide for a burned-in, heritage look.

Wood & plywood

Signs, cutting boards, coasters, ornaments, plaques, and display pieces. Walnut, maple, birch, and cherry all engrave with good contrast.

Acrylic

Awards, table numbers, table-top signage, and shop displays. Cut to shape and frost-engraved for a clean edge-lit look.

Common questions

Do you do laser engraving near Knoxville?

Yes. Our laser is at our Jefferson City studio, 222 Tom Franklin Rd, about 30 minutes east of downtown Knoxville. Pickup and drop-off are by appointment, and we ship anywhere.

Can I bring my own items to be engraved?

Absolutely. Customer-supplied tumblers, boards, flasks, and gifts are welcome. Send one spare with any batch in case a piece is damaged in setup, and leave lids and straws off.

Is there a minimum order?

No. We engrave single pieces for gifts and awards as well as production runs of several hundred for corporate and event orders.

What file formats do you need?

Vector art is best — AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF. A high-resolution PNG usually works too. Send what you have and we'll tell you whether it needs cleanup before it goes to the laser.

Will engraving damage a YETI or Stanley cup?

No. Engraving removes the powder coat in the artwork area and exposes the stainless underneath. The vacuum insulation is untouched and the cup still functions normally.

How fast is turnaround?

It depends on quantity and the current queue. You get a firm completion date with your quote before we start, and we'll tell you up front if a deadline is not realistic.
