How to fill a gang sheet

Left-chest logos

3" – 4" wide

Roughly 30+ marks per sheet. The standard buy for polos, tees, and jackets when you want one logo everywhere.

Full-front prints

11" – 13" wide

One large graphic fills the sheet, or pair a full front with a set of small sleeve or pocket hits in the leftover space.

Mixed runs

Any combination

Gang several customers, several designs, or several sizes onto one sheet. Nothing has to match.

Sleeve & pocket hits

2" – 3" wide

Small enough that dozens fit in the margins around bigger artwork — free space you already paid for.

Back prints

12" x 16" max

A full back print uses most of a sheet. Keep at least a quarter inch of clear film on every edge.

Names & numbers

Any size

Roster names, numbers, and repeated text lines nest tightly and cost almost nothing to add.

Artwork setup

  • Format — PNG with a transparent background, or vector (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF).
  • Resolution — 300 DPI at the finished print size. Upscaled web images print soft.
  • Sizing — build each design at the real inch size you want pressed, not scaled to the sheet.
  • Spacing — leave about 0.25" between designs and off every sheet edge so they cut apart cleanly.
  • Color — RGB is fine; we profile for the printer. Flag any exact brand color and we'll match as closely as film allows.
  • Thin lines — keep strokes and small text above about 1.5pt so they hold on the film.

How to order a gang sheet

    Email or upload your PNGs or vector files at the finished inch size you want pressed.

    We nest and proof

    We lay everything out on the sheet, fill the leftover space, and send back a proof showing exact placement and sizes.

    Approve and pay

    You get a firm per-sheet quote and turnaround date with the proof. Approve it and we print.

  4. 04

    Pick up or ship

    Pick up in Jefferson City or Johnson City, or we ship anywhere in the country ready to press.

Gang sheet pricing

Gang sheets are quoted per sheet, not per design — fill a sheet with one graphic or fifty and the sheet costs the same. Your quote depends on sheet count and turnaround, and per-sheet pricing drops as volume goes up. Wholesale rates are available for shops, embroiderers, and crafters ordering regularly.

What is a DTF gang sheet?

A gang sheet is one transfer film sheet packed with multiple designs instead of a single graphic. You pay for the sheet, not the design count, so tiling your artwork tightly is the cheapest way to buy transfers.

What size are your gang sheets?

Sheets are printed to fit your order. You can fill one with one large front print, dozens of small left-chest logos, or any mix in between.

How many designs fit on a sheet?

It depends on size. A standard sheet holds roughly six full-size 4" left-chest logos per row — often 30 or more small marks — or a single 13" wide full-front print. Leave about a quarter inch between designs so they cut apart cleanly.

Do I have to lay out the sheet myself?

No. Send your designs at the finished print size and we'll nest them for you at no extra charge. If you already have a laid-out sheet, send it as-is and we'll print it exactly.

What file format do you need?

PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI, sized to the real print dimensions, or vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF). We can clean up or redraw artwork that isn't press ready.

Is there a minimum order?

No minimum. Order a single sheet or a hundred — per-sheet cost drops as the count grows.

How do I press a gang sheet?

Cut the designs apart, then press each at roughly 300-315°F for 10-15 seconds with medium pressure. Peel warm or cold depending on the film, then give it a short second press to set the finish.

How long do gang sheet transfers last?

Stored flat, cool, and out of sunlight, unpressed transfers keep for months. Once pressed correctly they hold up through repeated washing — turn garments inside out and wash cold for the longest life.
